Russia is SO BAD in (PR) public relations that is beyond comprehension ! You should not only filter the text, spoken word but also filter the photographs and other media material (even edit-alter them if necessary) Before releasing them to the public, to avoid making free publicity for the terrorists! Example This photo circulated everywhere - of these young terrorists with hand-guns is GREAT PR for FREE offered to Islamic Jihad ! They look like Islamic version of Bonnie & Clyde ! Some journalist IDIOT has even released her last words directed to her late husband so that people can relate EMOTIONALLY to her barbaric act, as if it is some romantic revenge and not primitive Jihad crime! Many Russian journalists are so incompetent! And your federal PR department is pathetic!

When the IRA (whos political wing is now part of the legitamate government of Northern Ireland) were regarded as terrorists, the British government tried to gag them and ban the reporting of thier 'propoganda'. It failed, as most 'blunt' forms of media manipulation mostly do.

The same should be applied to Dmitry Medvedenko, now Russian correspondent for France.24. Reporting on the Moscow metro bombing last Monday, he mentioned that certain terrorist websites expressed their cheer. How appalling and insensitive! We've seen and heard many reports of terror attacks all over the world, but Medvedenko is the only person who manages to "reach" the evil mindset of terrorism. So eager to impress his new employer, so not Russian.

How about someone bans the russian government from making laws that violate all an any rights? Not taking the terrorists side, but one thing is terror, another thing is freedom of speech which everyone is entitled to. Not to mention the freedom of press. Funny how Russia is steadily moving into a stalinistic state, banning stuff left and right, making laws that no other modern country has all in the name of either "security" or more often these days "the great myth" (great patriotic war)

@jako777 Good not agree more while western media hyper inflates the danger posed by terrorism Russia completely marginalises it which is totally counter productive as they read about it on the internet anyway. @antihero Western anti-terrorism laws and measure are far stricter than in Russia which does not have a patriot act or lengthily detention without charge yet has a far greater threat then any western country can imagine. What are the laws that no modern country has? Proposed law against US re-writing history.
