When the Labour MP Denis McShane alleges the so called “Russian occupation of Latvia from 1939-1991 does he take into consideration these facts from the USSR: COUNCIL OF DOMETIC COMMISSARIES: out of 22 members with executive powers, 3 were Russians, 1 Georgian, 1 Armenian and 17 Jews. CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COMMITEE: out of 61 members with executive powers, 5 Russians, 6 Litvanians, 1 German, 2 Armenians, 1 Checkz, 2 Georgians, 1 Ukrainian and 42 Jews. EMERGANCY COMMISSION OF MOSCOW: out of 36 members with executive powers, 1 Polish, 1 German, 1 Armenian, 2 Russians, 8 Lithuanians and 23 Jews. Russia was NOT the occupier but a victim just like Latvia and the rest of the constituents of the USSR, by the oppressors. Does the Labour MP Denis McShane know that the vast majority in the USSR who were sent to Stalin’s gulags which never came back were ethnic Russians? How is it logical to suggest that Latvia was under Russian occupation and their citizens sent to death camps when in fact millions upon millions ethnic Russians were exterminated during USSR which is a drop in a ocean when comparing to Russians? I recon these MP should go back to school to study a bit of real history not the one written by his political party.

There were very good pro-European Tories like Kenneth Clarke, but the present direction under Cameron is totally isolated in Europe.

Does RT aspire to be a news broadcaster or a purveyor of amusing fiction? It writes, “UK’s Conservative Party is being criticized for the poor choice of its European allies, some of which never miss an opportunity to parade around in the uniforms of Nazi Germany, “meaning, of course, the Baltics. I challenge RT to provide of any evidence whatsoever of anyone parading in Nazi uniforms in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania. It cannot, because there is none – it just does not happen. Yet neither does it retract nor apologise for asserting that kind of nonsense. Perhaps RT does not appreciate that the standard of credibility that it establishes in articles like this one is the same standard by which its other copy will also inevitably be judged.

Fascism is a natural product of the capitalist system designed to protect capitalism from socialism/communism. In the late 1920ies and early 1930ties (when UK was not yet threatened by Germany) Winston Churchill PUBLICLY praised both Italian fascism as well as German Nazism for their anti-communist policies. Speaking about Benito Mussolini W. Churchill said: "What a man! I have lost my heart!... Fascism has rendered a service to the entire world... If I were Italian, I am sure I would have been with you entirely from the beginning of your victorious struggle against the bestial appetites and passion of Leninism."

1. Open and active anti-Semites should be arrested and must go to prison. IMHO. 2. But in the UK too powerful pro-Nazi lobby - from retirees and veterans of the Cold War with hight social status. Nazism was popular in Russia - only among Russian teenagers from the poorest, disadvantaged and single parent families. But there is a important difference. In Russia, pro-Nazi is not in parliament - in the UK pro-Nazi in parliament.

Lucky, Your so called anti-Semites is an old Jewish trick who were hiding their crimes against humanity behind artificial law. How come there is no any anti-Russian law even though Russians were the biggest victims in the WW2? Over 30 million Russians were killed and many more died of starvation and diseases. So, please, get over it with your so called anti- Semites trick and become responsible for the crimes your comrades are recommitting against humanity. Palestinian tragedy is still going on.
