Hundreds of UK citizens brought politics back to the streets by calling for denying a voice to the right wing British National Party, which is accused by many in the UK of pursuing racist policies similar to the Nazis.

Nick walked into the lions den. The whole production was a set-up to discredit Mr Griffin and the BNP. Even knowing that was a fact, he still appeared and addressed the issues as best he could. The British National Party is here to stay. My hat is off to Mr Griffin. Welcome aboard mate, the same "book of rules" is being played across the pond and we are not taking the readings without resistance either. It will not be the "Change" that some people have in mind.

It is a great myth that the BNP flourish because "mainstream politics" fails. That is nonsense. The BNP tap into a xenophobia that exists in all societies, probably less so than in many western countries such as Italy, whose capital recently elected a rabidly fascist mayor. And cetainly less so than in some Easdtern European countries. The way to tackle them is not to deny them the opportunity of free speech, nor to pander to them by playing up to the prejudices on which they thrive. (People in Britain vote for the BNP because they are thick, and because they are racist with a small "r". Of course no "mainstream" politician" will dare say this.) It is to expose their poisonous views and this was done admirably. Griffin had the luxury of facing questions almost exclusively about race issues and he failed big time to look anything other than a buffoon trying unsuccessfully to reconcile the public image of the BNP he tries to push onto less obvious potential voters, and his real, nazi self. And by the way he was not "frequently shouted down" as your report claims. Shouting people down is not tolerated on this programme. George Orwell memorably stated that fascism would never catch on in Britain because most people would simply find it funny - a very astute statement and incidentally one which perhaps explains the delight we feel when we see Mr V Putin strutting his topless stuff in the papers every so often :-)

This is not a problem we find in only the UK but also in the Swedish society where politicians outright want to ban political parties that do not follow the established political lines when it comes to immigration questions and questions that they themselves have done nothing to deal with and just cause parties express a change in foreign policy, and questions regarding immigration people are hunted down for their political affiliations, people has already lost their jobs, their union membership and such just cause they are affiliated with parties that do express non political correct viewpoints, that is questions about immigration, crime, freedom of religion and freedom of speech. The Green Party along with Social Democrats and the The Left Party and all the other parties to the right and in the middle are right now trying via media and different lobby groups to freeze democratic processes inside Sweden. They go out with fear tactics, they organise rallies where SA stylish tactics is used by subgroups to established parties to silence party members of Sweden Democrats with smear campaign and assault and battery. They try to make new laws to ban parties that do not follow the general political line and make everything they can to defame these brave political voices in our so called democratic nation. Sweden Democrats will participate in the 2010 elections and Sweden need international observers to insure the democratic process, this also means that Swedish media needs watchdogs and supervision to secure fair and balanced elections other nations should keep an watchful eye on Sweden in these times.

"... Leader Griffin ... was shouted down ... .... what is this whole writing about, in reality? RT has an obligation to report the news and world information is the globalized version of politics in countries because the all is connected, clearly. The EU appears to be protected here in RT, or are we missing something? Nick Griffin of the BNP is ok with the bad PR, too, since poly-SI appears as an ongoing theme in the lineage experiments terrified of being required to cease and desist behaving like royal twits. Does Nick Griffin listen to THE WALL and therefore, he cannot possibly be allowed with his group to question globalism since IT seeks only to be a snake swallowing ITS' own tail and no country has been left without being in the shadow of this umbra.

The british National Party are never given fair press when you consider the government in power chooses the head of the BBC, or when Rupert Murdoch controls the alot of the media here in the United Kingdom, The conservatives are supported with Big Funding From Business and the Fiends of Israel (see channel 4 despatches ) , then there is the Labour Party which is practicably Bankrupt financially and definately Bankrupt Morally, The B.N.P. is the only Party here Reprosenting the Indigineous population here, they are a real threat to the Old Established Parties, as they themselves are funded directly by the goodwill of the public and do make every penny count, one only has to look at the B.N.P. website, it gets more hits than any the other parties in the uk.

So, Russia Today is, after all, just another tabloid. What a pity. The BNP are widely unpopular? Fact: BNP policies had majority public support when put to the public anonymously. There is widespread opposition to the BNP? Fact: The hundreds of demonstrators that the far-left can assemble to protest at any BNP appearance, hold political views that would horrify the majority of British people. It's a pity that RT's "groundbreaking" brand of journalism doesn't extent to going to the areas of Muslim dominance in the North of England and actually asking the historical population why they are electing nationalist councilors. It's obviously far more comfortable to sit in an air conditioned studio with a university diploma, a notebook and a collection of class prejudices and lame nineteen thirties stereotypes.
