The UK can only end the stale conflict in Afghanistan through diplomacy, not through an increased military presence, Bob Bailey from the British National Party told RT.
UK will not withdraw from Afghanistan as long as America orders it to remain there - simple as that. I was shocked how low the British self-respect has dropped when I saw Bush yell at Tony Blair at an international conference: "Yo, Blair, git over here", and Blair came running like a little puppy. The Brits of today are not the one who saved their island from Hitler during WW II. The Brits today are US lapdogs that do the America's bidding whenever they hear the whistle. That is why UK will never, ever, withdraw from Afghanistan as long as the America demands that they be there. Not even little Estonia dares not to pull out their few troops for fear of American reaction.

It seems to me that Afghanistan is our Vietnam. If you remember throughout the Vietnam war the Americans were not fighting an army but a group dressed as normal people living normal lives, until they picked up a gun. Afghanistan is about the same. Whenever you see the Taliban on TV they are dressed as normal people with bandaliers of bullets and a rifle hung around their neck. Take them off and you would not know they were the Taliban. We are sending more troops out there to trrain an army supposedly to keep the peace and introduce a form of democracy which is totally alien to the Afghan's. Who is to say that those being trained are nor insurgents in disguise? The end result could be total failure. The Afghans are a tribal nation with war lords and tribes fighting each other, do we really believe we can change that? I doubt it and we could end up in a never ending war losing heroic troops by the score ~~ is it really worth it or should we let the Afghan's fun their own lives in the way they have been accustomed for centuries
