"State Duma considers softening ban on US adoptions – paper"

...what an unpatriotic act!

As an adoptive mom my main concern is for the children and I don't see how any of these bans helps them. I adopted a special needs Russian daughter at age 5 and she is thriving after lots of medical care and a loving family. It breaks my heart knowing other children won't have the chance she has to grow into a loved and well adjusted member of society.

Kay Emery Please do not believe lies. Russian children are loved, nurtured and protected just like ALL children everywhere. All are deserving. For any horrible accidents or type of harm, we are so very, very sorry. It should never happen. I am an American citizen and adoptive parent four times over. I believe it is privilege and an honor that you have allowed your children to be adopted and in their own right be ambassadors for Russia. Our Vanya is doing an amazing job of it. He is paralyzed and showing everyone how a disability need to be a liability, but, in fact, can serve as an asset, even better said, a blessing.

Don't sell your children Russia to modern Rome!

Anonymous user 18.07.2013 18:14

No adoption for a country that boycotts Russia. Absolut no and never.

DO NOT let American citizens adopt male children. Males have no human rights in the United States

Mohamed Al Hashimi 18.07.2013 11:34

Western Roman can't be faithful alliance for Russia but they can be friend for short time to spread Russia from China until falling of China after that they will attack Russia as the history proofs these statement and New World Order wars today
