Sergey Borisov, Many thanks for this article. First and foremost, not all those in abroad who show interest in this case are against Russia! It is the case that some are interested about the Russia and this police officer as a brave man and human being.I am deeply for his but also for his pregnant wife. The video had profound and immediate impact; this was the aim of the police officer. It is clear that Aleksey Dymovsky knew that there would be implications of his actions. But claiming he might be working for foreign interests is destructive. Also it can be said that firing him immediately may suggest that he might be telling the truth. Yes, he should have been suspended until the case is properly investigated. I have personal experience of small taste of corruption in Russia when a café based inside one of Moscow's international airports charged my visa more than $100 US for food which cost less than 600 roubles! I was shocked not only such utter criminal conduct but that the café in question was located inside leading international airport. Now, it is pertinent to set aside all the extra symbolic references- such as date of the video was posted- and focus primarily on the facts of this case.
