Viktor Zubkov approved as Prime Minister

Russian State Duma deputies have approved Viktor Zubkov as the country’s new Prime Minister. He replaces Mikhail Fradkov, who stepped down on Wednesday. Mr Zubkov enjoyed overwhelming support from the deputies, receiving 381 votes in favour of his appoint
