In the United States, some 30,000 people had the right to cast their vote in the Russian parliamentary election. Some of them have being living abroad for more then a decade, but they've kept their links with Russia and were very keen to have their say in
Reporting from the New York City was RT’s correspondent Marina Portnaya.
She says a turnout of about 25% is expected in the United States, which is more then during the previous election in 2003.
