How do you spin a war, 64 years in the past? Piece of cake. You just concentrate on a few conspiracy theories to make the story (or history) interesting, and add something that serves as a delivery vehicle for your spin.
I am now 79 and I remenber, during the "occupation" in France, on the wall of our kitchen was posted a big map of the "front de l'est". Each day according to the news of the BBC in french, my father moved the colored pins posted on the map representi the front line. It was not until the end of december 1941 that these pins keep move eastward. It was then, at the end of december, near Moscow that for the first time the nazi Juggernaut was stopped and even moved slithly backward. Until then, we were desperate and hope began to come back. I was 11 but I remenber it perfectly...vividly. JC
Briliant article, just Brilliant, simply Brilliant - it is us, we need come together in Russia and with our Allies. Politics is using and abusing, now many people can see it, it is clear to all. We need remember and embrace.
Concur wholeheartedly. I am an American of the post-war generation. The war was real to us, through the stories of our parents, our uncles and aunts, their friends and our neighbors. It cannot be "spun" for us.

I agree 5/5 with this article JC
