The Moscow Symphony Orchestra and singers from Russia, Austria and Ukraine have gathered to stage “The Tsar's Bride” opera by Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
The Tchaikovsky Hall – is usually used for concerts, rather than opera performances.The story is set in the 16th century and dedicated to the tragic life of the third wife of Russian Tzar Ivan the Great. The creator of the opera considered it one of his most successful productions, though his contemporaries did not appreciate the opera. Now it forms part of the repertoire of many Russian theatres.discuss it
