Krilya Sovetov hockey team ends strike to take on Salavat Ulaev

In ice hockey Russia’s Krilya Sovetov will now play their upcoming Superleague match with Salavat Ulaev after their players halted a strike over pay. The Moscow-based players had not been paid in four months.
So, they decided to go on strike on Tuesday.The former 2-time national champions had said they would not put their skates on until they were reimbursed for their services. The club's authorities, though, have since said that Wednesday's match with Salavat Ulaev will go ahead, and that all back wages will be transferred into the players accounts immediately.discuss it
