The latest book by JK Rowling has hits Moscow stores. The question in every fans mind is whether their favourite hero – Harry Potter- will survive the end of the tale.

The young wizard has captured the world's imagination. J.K Rowling's Harry Potter books have sold over 325 MLN copies and the latest one has just been released.

It's the final one of the series and fans in Moscow queued throughout the night to be among the first to read whether or not he wins his battle against evil.

Fans will happily wait in line hours through the night for a rock concert, but rarely for a book launch.

However, the last ever Harry Potter novel -Harry Potter and the Deathly Harrows is no ordinary book – it's an event. And some even arrived in full fancy dress, as pupils of Hogwarts school of Magic where the books are set.

At 0300 Moscow time the first copies went on sale worldwide amid a frenzy of excitement. Not least in Moscow.

Many couldn't wait to get home and started reading under the streetlights.

So it looks like being another runaway best seller.
