This season's Russian Premier League will be decided on Sunday – the last day of the season. It's a two-horse race between Zenit from St. Petersburg and Spartak from Moscow, with Zenit hot favourites to claim their first title since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
They're calling it showdown Sunday, and the stakes couldn't be higher. Zenit are on the verge of making history. If they beat Saturn away, they will be crowned Russian champions for the first time.
Zenit's Dutch coach Dick Advocaat says his team is well-prepared for the crunch match.
“It's the chance of a lifetime, we need to make history”, he said.
The other title-contenders, Spartak Moscow, are taking on city-rivals Dinamo at home.
Spartak need a win to stand any chance of winning the league. They'll also need Zenit to either lose or draw.
