Drink too much and you may turn green, but a new type of vodka from Ukraine is causing a few red faces before anyone has even taken a sip. And it’s all down to the bottle, which is in the shape of a phallus.
Sales assistants in the Ukrainian town of Chernigov still blush handling their new product. No wonder! The vodka they sell comes in a bottle the shape of a penis. At the sight of it, adult customers turn into school children choking with laughter and afraid to be caught on camera with it.
Almost 30 centimetres long, the phallic vodka bottle seems to be one of the most wanted souvenirs in town.
At the production unit, only women have the honour of washing, filling and packing this vodka. No machinery is used at all. It's all done by hand.
Apart from traditional Ukrainian figures, they pour their drinks into bottles shaped like the book of the Kama Sutra, hand grenades, and rifles.
