Bizet’s Carmen, Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and the high kicking Can-Can – that is an ambitious repertoire for any theatre company, but when the leading players are fingers, versatility is the name of the game.
The Finger Theatre of director Besso Kureishvili is surely one of the most surreal theatrical experiences anywhere. With elaborate costumes and hours of practice, fingers can act, fight and even dace the tango.
