Following his escape from a zoo, a bear was found prowling the streets of the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod. The bear was surprisingly tame, and local residents were able to feed and play with him, before ensuring he got safely back to his home at the zoo.
The one-and-half-year-old bear is now back in his enclosure.
Zoo officials are trying to figure out just how he managed to break free.
“The guards saw that first he got onto the roof of the building, but then fell. After about one hour he decided to repeat the attempt, but chose a different way and finally managed to get out,” said zoo keeper Mikhail Mityurin.
The bear has already become a celebrity; his late night adventures earning him the nick name James Bond.
But if he wants to go on another daring mission, this time he’ll have to tackle a reinforced roof.
