You can now dress your “Google Personalised Homepage” with the help of professional designers. In the 21st century some people have to style not only their outfit but also the look of their homepages and many fashion designers were ready to switch from fabrics to virtual reality.
In April 2008 Google started offering a choice of themes for personalised homepages, made by professional artists from around the world.
“Today personalisation is key to the Internet. You're expressing yourself in your blogs, in the way you design your homepage. We always want to express our individuality, and it concerns the Internet as well,” believes Alla Zabrovskaya of Google Russia.
For the presentation of their iGoogle themes many Russian artists preferred to mix the traditional fashion show with video installation.
One of Russia's leading designers Elena Suprun stayed true to the feminine and elegant style of her clothing collections. Her iGoogle theme was poppies, which are Suprun's trademark.
