U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta (Reuters / Kevin Lamarque)
Alyona takes a look back at what happened in Oakland this weekend, as more than 400 people were arrested in Occupy actions.
Then, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta gave an interview to 60 minutes that aired this Sunday. Alyona breaks down the interview, and it turns out we're still flying drones over Iraq, and Afghan President Hamid Karzai is planning on meeting with Taliban in Saudi Arabia.
Then, a Greek debt deal has been stalled once again.
Alyona talks to RT's Lauren Lyster, host of the Capital Account. And of course, another edition of Happy Hour.

Alyona,
We must surely know by now that these laws being passed are no more than legal and political cover for what is already being done, but more importantly what is being planned for US citizens.. Make no mistake, the time will come when shows like yours are deemed to be 'aiding the enemy', just like the anti-Veitnam war protestors, and all the anti-war, anti-govt, anti-Wall St protestors were and will be labeled.. Hence ACTA, SOPA, PIPA, NDAA, Eneny Expatriation Act, We know this, yet most Americans don't get it.. More voices need to be shouting at the top of their voices at this deaf and sedated population. Thank you for yours.
I'd like to respond to what some of your guests, like Scott horton, have said about expectation of privacy. A citizen's expectation of privacy does not decrease just because their privacy has been constantly violated. Rights are not lost merely because they are violated. That's silly. Horton made the remark that camera's were everywhere, so there is no expectation of privacy. That's like saying if police start beating everyone arrested that we no longer have the right to not be beaten upon arrest by the police.
The short comings of any media is as it stands. Sensationalism and forgotten after the minutes of the show. One can not take the imagines and the statements of the propagandist as ones own reality. But one can hear in this short brief statement of Panetta as the same rhetoric movement to convince the lower class of America, which the weapon bankers have play on for decades and will continue, unfortunatefor all news media that nothing is changes and the madness of cold capitalist things destroy human life forideas that have no humanism to it all.
