A brilliant programme showing living history and a skill which could be lost in years to come with products like plastics and glass fibre. Also the skills of being able to manage these boats some of years ago and only found in the history books. The programme content was also well portrayed and the items well shown to all who were to see it and not know of the existance . It explained its conception and estabishment and now how it is able to continue and flourish. Programmes like ''Hornblower'' would not have looked so real without the special models and the rowing boats as carried by the navel vessels of that time around the Napolionic wars.
