Max Keiser and co-host Stacy Herbert this week look at how propaganda shapes political and economic outcomes in our economies. They report on Americans collecting government social welfare benefits without knowing it and US Congressman taking financial bets against its government debt. And, finally, Max and Stacy suggest that if British teenagers are being extradited to America on copyright infringement, then George Michael ought to have a case against Rupert Murdoch under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act as well.

Thanks Max and Stacy for a really good show, I see every episode. You are doing a brilliant job, I just been having one negative input about too much dramatic acting but it hasn't been there for the last two shows thankfully.
It reduces credibility.
Thanks again for an exellent show
Daniel
Thank you ! Your show is so funny I laugh out loud. The world will implode before anything changes but at least we can laugh and you are the masters of comedy.
Max & Stacey,
Your outrage over the actions of the Oligarchs implies that you believe that they are capable or even interested in behaving any other way, when history shows us repeatedly that their actions are well within the parameters of their perceived rights and privileges... so why the surprise? I would further suggest that if you took an individual, one who has experienced the worst oppression, one that should fully understand the inherent evil of oppressing another human being and put said individual in the seat of power, the odds are that you would have an even worse tyrant.... go to the zoo and watch the primates and their behavior... you will come away with a better understanding of human behavior.
Nice show but I notice Max always says "that's all the time for we have" at the end lol
Dear Max & Stacey:
Thank you for your superb work in the cause of truth and justice!
Your Episode 164 discussing the impunity of Ripper Murdoch recalls the dictum of Montesquieu in L'Esprit des Lois that the law is a spider's web that catches the little flies but cannot hold the big ones.
Bon courage, les amis!
Reid
Max, you are on target with the issures of fraud, corruption, greed and the double standard of the application of the legal system in the USA. What is disturbing is the dumbing down of americans with all of the media propaganda. Very few people know or understand economics and what is in store for them in the next few years. Keep up the good work and thank god for free speech (as long as it lasts)! John
Hi Max and Stacey!
I follow every show of you, thank you for speaking out of your minds! Cantor of course should be punished for doing so, its something like aktive insider trading in such a serious context.
But Stacey, I think you got something wrong: I quote you: (the product) "is worth zero if the economy doesn`t collapse" TBT (the Product Cantor is buying) is of course not worth nothing if the economy would go up- you forget that the FED simply is the reason for such artificially low interest rates which don`t match with inflation. If the economy is moving forward central banks usually tend to rise interest rates -especially from zero- which would cause "the product" to rise also!

That is spot on but the problem is what behavior do you indorse ? It's very black and white ... Either you believe that Lucifer is your guide for how to behave or the Bible is ( "not" the Jesuit Bible rather King James ) . Because the Oligarchs Free Masons , from the Arabia over China to the heart of the stronghold of occultists the USA , don't believe in the good , honest commandments . And on a daily basis they give praise to "their" lord by robbing us blind and starting wars for others to die and the west to pay for
Thanks for an instructive episode.
Hi. I am, at present, visiting my wife's family in Perm, Russia. I watched Max & Stacey on their show yesterday (14th). Fantastic. If Max has not been syndicated on other networks then it should be done immediately. He, and Tracey, spoke absolute sense. They said it in a way that even a dimwit, such as myself, could follow. I believe that episode should be shown on every channel in every capitalist country in the world. Ideally, it should played on a continual loop until every working person fully understands the implications of what "Big Business" is doing to the world. Then, once it has sunk in, they should start a revolution!
Oh mr Keiser, shame on you, calling Papandreou an idiot and a con man. He is just a kid who knows nothing . You should know that he is protected by law from unkind people like you who think they can say anything on TV.In the birthplace of Democracy you just cannot present facts or speak your mind on TV like that.Mind you, he can have you arrested in the airport.Thank you
At first I thought this program was a comedy, I always thought it was a repeat, because the two duo always appear to be doing the saem. But then after watching it full length twice, I got addicted at the brain work of these two people. In fact it is only in a world so dysfunctional like ours, and filled with ignoramus, that feed their daily whoopy on trash from Mc'Fox', that after listening all these naked truth, people wave it aside and continue in blindness.
It is amsing how ignorant most Americans are even their so called 'law makers', most of them are simply out of touch with reality, and when one hear them talk, it feels like people that are just from disorganised rehab center.
I think they should start by banning capitalism and GMO food so the natural food will maybe try to bring back the natural being in most Americans.. Sorry, but truth bitter, Americans are simply on the path to self destruction, sadly they're trying to take the rest of us with them on the path... The power drunkenness and capitalist evil, has taken hold of their main brain..
Lots more food for thought. It is interesting when you think out of the proverbial box.
What do you think of the vicious comments made on DISQUS (The Independent) by other members of the EU, blaming Britain and the USA for causing the Euro crisis, and attacking everything British. The hatred of the European Union members comments is fully directed at Britain, who is actually a member of this Union. They even go as far as to say that it is laughable that we in Britain think we live in a democracy.

------------STONE BIRD your cynicism shows how far removed from today's realities you are. Max and Stacey are upset as ANY one who has a social consciousness and a sense of fairness.
Humans have shown throughout history a tendency to seek a just social contract with the intuition it is the most enduring, stable and productive system we can produce.
When wealth is more evenly distributed and the opportunities for education and social moviltity are prevalent, everyone in that society will benefit from all the creativity every individual will be able to contribute to the common good.
In a system where only a few seeds are placed on the right soil and enough water to grow strong while most others are left in dry, unproductive soil, the group as a whole will be weak. But if we have another patch of land where ALL seeds get the opportunities afforded to the few in the first case, their growth will multiply the opportunities for all, including the ones at the top.

Remember that statement when, in the not to distant future, you try to draw money out of you bank account.
Hi Max and Stacy, love your show, you guys just crack me up so much.I really love how Max shreds these guys.
I just wonder how is it that week after week we hear of how the financial elite get away with everything from treason to fraud and possibly even rape and murder and in Murdochs case phone hacking and bribery, even the police have been withholding information since 2004. What about conversations on victims from 9/11 and 7/7 that where being recorded and the authorities knew about this and did nothing, and get away with it. Why are these guys never taken down or put in jail for these crimes. I would love to know more on how the laws of countries are only applicable to most of its citizens and not the mega rich.
Its great that your reports are the most transparent and informative out there, but i want to know what can we all do collectively to take the power back. The governments around the world seem to be working not for its citizens but for the elite and there corporations and its scandalous. Do you think that in the very near future more and more people will just rebel and go out and fight these corrupt scum bags in positions of power, and will the price be bloodshed as we have seen in the UAE and other places?
Why doesn't someone organize an international protest day so that everyone collectively at the same time in cities and nations all over the world go out and take a stand and demand that these guys stand down, and brought to justice.
Hi Max and Stacy, thanks for taking an interest in my battered coutry. Yes Berlusconi is an old, ugly, bufoon, and believe me, half italians (or a little bit less than half) want to see him out - some want to see him hanged, but that's a bit extreme - the problem is that we are powerless and misinformed.
Unlike most western countries, Italy never had a revolution. In order to have one, the country should be united against a common enemy, but it isn't and never will be. After all "divide and conquer" was the roman motto, and that's what our politicians still use. We have an openly racist party in the government (lega nord) which calls for secession! What hope is there for a country which allows that?
Most young italians can count on their parents' (little) wealth, and are so afraid to lose what they have, that they put up with everyday corruption and inefficiency.
The opposition is too weak and framented.
We don't know what to do. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.
It is amusing to me that the most truth I have ever seen spoken from a mainstream source is a Russian centered one. I live in heartland of the United States, and the compliance and ignorance to the propaganda of the population is something that I have noticed for a long time. However, within the rural area that I live there are many ACTUAL rugged individuals that have worked hard for everything they have, and reject any entitlements from the government. The reason why most people just go with the flow, because they know that if they open there eyes to the dire state of of country, nay the world, they will have to forfeit the lives the have built and FIGHT. In order to right the many wrongs that have crept up on us, the way of life we have grown to love must be destroyed. There will come a tipping point though, when the people must consciously decide whether they will be a population enslaved by the banking cartels, or be the real men they have thought they were all their lives. All we want is to be left alone so we can live our lives, worship our God, and grow our families. We believe in the free market, because we have seen it work, but it is hard to accept that outside our small communities the market is not free, because the government has crept so insidiously into our lives that to practice what we know is right would require fighting a battle that seems impossible to win.
Alex Moyer. Well put.
Really enjoy this show too.
You hit the nail on the head reporting on how so many people and firms portray themselves as rugged individualists, ignoring all the public services they use including roads, police, fire, governance, etc. that are part and parcel in their success. The person taking mortgage interest tax credits on a first and second home is taking more money out of the system required to maintain those services than the person on welfare. But symantics are everything in popular governance, one is a tax deduction, the other a hand out. Fox News and politicians basing policy decisions on popularity instead of sound policy continue to perpetuate. It is no wonder the U.S. has a massive debt problem, crumbling infrastructure, and zero political will to change it. We need a wake up call, but I am afraid of the severity that it will actually take.
