Tonight we'll be speaking with William K. Black. He was supposed to be briefing a bipartisan group of Congress members on derivatives and the role they played in our financial crisis, the continuing role they play in risk to our economy, but ended up getting uninvited. He'll tell us why they fear his "bank bashing", in his own words. Then, Truthout's Jason Leopold talks about his new investigation into the brother of the first high value Gitmo detainee, Abu Zubaydah. And then don’t miss Happy Hour.

Don't people get the fact that the banks have completely taken over the government and that any congressman who dares to speak any truth about the banking fraud and what to really do about it will get immediately defunded by the banks for their political campaigns or if they really rock the boat they get drone striked by our president while on a mission outside the country. Listen I'm all for drone strikes, but it is definitely not about truth and justice and protecting america anymore!  It's about corruption at the highest levels of our government run wild.  This holy man we killed with his son, he probably was a government asset who gave a briefing at the pentagon in front of the CIA and FBI and other government officials.  Does anyone smell a rat?  And yet our government says nothing to us other than 'He was a terrorist!"  And this makes it OK for us to kill him. Sorry trust of our government and the mass news media is out the window for me at this time in my life.  The word sucker no longer appears on my forehead.  It depresses me though seeing how the world really works.  When I die my problems will be over, you the young, your so screwed I'm so sorry.  My only advice start voting anti incumbent for the rest of your lives. Better a revolution at the ballot box than a bloody revolution in the streets.  Stop giving to the democrats or republicans, they don't work for you anymore and STOP TALKING TO POLLSTERS you don't owe them anything!  Your vote is private,on election day let it be a surprise as to who gets elected!  Stop being suckered my friends.
