Sure, the west is trying to provoke Russia into military conflict, but Putin is just waiting for the west to make the first move.People in the US had enough from wars. They have no more money to spend on wars.Russia wont back down.

One way of explaining the war mongering and betrayal of Kerry/Nuland/Western Military machine/shills on this message board, is that they are desperately trying to throw their own country, the United States, under the bus now that the people are waking up...

Ye p. I've reached similar conclusions. There's no way this is good for the US and no way it's all accidental. But I don't think they have complete control of what they're doing, whether they want to accept that fact or not..

James Reese 27.04.2014 19:52

The USgovt is operating a 20th century imperialism scenario, but the 21st century paradigm is shifting toward cooperation economically, and geopolitically. USgovt hegemony is simply unsustainable, especially when it promotes conflict and tyranny that the whole world can see.

Those are the earmarks of the Jesuit coneheads in the Vatican and banking system, phobos and diemos, fear and treachery. Get "homo capensis". I think we are all going to see the evil species soon !

Marcus Papadopoulos says that Bashar Assad regime in Syria is secular?! That is absurd and distortive of fact and reality. Assad's regime and his father's (Hafez) are pure sectarian based on 7% Nusayris of Syria controlling all resources, all government organs, and abusing the majority (80% Sunnis) with help from a 3% Christians, a few Ismaelis, a few Druz, and a dozen or so Sunnis. Assads' regimes have been anything but Nazi-like sectarian Nusayri minority practicing ugliest practices of old fascism against 80% of the population for over 4 decades.

The Russians and their mouthpieces everywhere should be ashamed in their rotten hypocrisy, siding with true fascism in Syria and Egypt, but condemning the one in Kiev.

Peter Lavelle always makes sure that the so-called "intelligent guests" on his show do not appear to bully or over take all others, who have an equally important message to give his viewers. A well balanced show - Great job Peter !

N ot true Jennet, Lavelle flies into tantrums, gesticulates madly and verbally denounces guests with views that differ to his. The antithesis of how an impartial presenter should behave.

Peter Lavelle should research the meaning of "journalistic integrity and impartiality" and then he might learn to keep his puerile and highly subjective opinions silent, so that intelligent guests can properly argue their points on this so-called "flagship" show.

The Wall Street banksters know we're on the brink of a serious financial catastrophe; Mitch Feierstein (of 'Planet Ponzi' fame) estimates current US debt at about $200 trillion, not $17 trillion; perhaps one aim of the war-plans is to make Russia a scapegoat for this impending economic catastrophe too. US actions seem to suggest that it wants war. Hope I'm wrong.

Evo Immorales 25.04.2014 04:39

Indeed ron & Artha, the sociopathic mindset behind it all has it roots in failing capitalist profits - it is just the last stage of capitalism playing itself out. The agenda is to set up comprador bourgeois regimes in Russia, China, Iran (and intervening nations/provinces) in order to milk their resources dry for whatever profits can be made from them.

Chris tianity is an even more insidious force here since this prejudice is shared with Russia - though the USA prefers Saudis and (sotto voce) al-Qaida more at the moment. The hypocrisy & evasiveness of Br. & USA will eventually disillusion the latter, and then....

ron 25.04.2014 01:48

Patrick hit the nail dead on with his comment regarding the plunder and chaos of war equals money for the military-industrial complex. I still insist, however, there is something more sinister at work--that of the sociopathic neo-con mind set. These sociopaths--that is what we must call them--are aroused by the sickness of plunder , as long as they are not physically threatened. Then this horror in the Ukraine falls in line with Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Syria, and the Palestinian horror. The corporations own the media and weapons of war. The neo-cons have had "the man behind the curtain" role since PNAC(1999)

the west faults putin for the crisis in ukrain, the west faults everyone for everything.especialy for its own crimes.to be expected,i think.i fault putin for not becoming angry 10 years ago.it was obvious long ago what the agenda was that russia faced.i would have slugged od vlad in the face to wake him up even though i would likely have gotten the worst of the atercation.now he faces an uphill climb.whatever.lol

jamessimpson 24.04.2014 23:15

America, is not going to back away in the Ukraine, situation. They have committed themselves to an agenda, and they will pursue that agenda, whatever it may be. Russia, has only one choice, to put up or shut up. That is the choice America, is going to force on them. Russia, in this incident must remain firm and strong, and be prepared to see it through. If you collapse, the Americans, will be finding a means of destabilizing Russia, in the next few years. Because they will be interfering in Russian, politics. Mr Putin, you have no choice really, It is what the American, zionist's want and they will.

jamessimpson 24.04.2014 22:56

The Russians, have both the moral and principled right to use ICBM's on America, and I for one are hoping that is what they will do. America, an international pariah nation. If I were Mr Putin, I would have sent them the minute the Americans, started this nonsense. One day they and the zionists in control of the American, industrial military complexes will get what they want and deserve.

From China to Ukraine, the US is pursuing its longstanding ambition to dominate the Eurasian landmass

Ma y peace prevail for all.

1. How about the UN demanding that Emperor PsychoBama do something to redress the shocking injustice meted out, even today, to native American Indians in the USA?
