There will never be peace on earth as long as both Jews and Muslim Cults are allowed to exist and their fanatic adherents allowed to live free and to roam.

Baseless statement. What you mean by "Jews and Muslim cults"? And who is "allowed to live free"? I think the fact they Muslim are NOT allowed to live free is the very reason of the whole conflict. This is not a war - this is ethnic cleansing slash genocide. Conflict between Jews and Muslim is manufactured.

Israel uses the US like a dog, they control everything there.

Walkouts eh? This is the way it going to go when people continue defending the indefensible.

Lord Byng 25.07.2014 05:42

This was a disappointing revelation to me. Mr. Van Creveld is a respected military theorist who has written perceptively on a lot of military conflicts, but who fails to apply the fundamentals of centuries of military analysis to this one.

How can you possibly conduct a war and say nothing more about the objectives of one party than "they started it?"

The main reason to actually have objectives is to try to determine whether the objectives can actually be achieved with the means available.

Disappointing.

God punished him with that lisp but should have replaced it with bun hole.

Dear Snorkle,
The underlying problem is that holy books (New Testament, Quran & Jewish Scripture) cannot resolve our difficulties today since each claims the one god to protect each one's version of monotheism.

That Christianity & Judaism united to form Judeo-Christianity to seize Muslim Palestine is an unprecedented situation that the world has never faced before. Its resolution will ONLY come with the circumscribing of these religions, especially Judaism & Christianity, thru understanding that these religions evolved from historical circumstances, NOT from divine communications to Moses, Jesus, Mohammed etc.

Evo Immorales 23.07.2014 08:26

In the two posts, Snorkle merely demonstrates the prejudices shared by monotheist religions.

One fundamental tenet of faith in ISLAM is that no good or bad can befall anyone except by the decree of Allah... Another fundamental belief is in the Day of Reckoning or the Day of Judgment. Thus, Islam teaches that life is not fair; because, the purpose of life isn't living in pleasure & material comforts; it is a test to see who is the best in character and conduct.

These claims are usually those of Christianity too, revealing the impotence of belief in God.

Snorkle 23.07.2014 07:35

Quran, Chapter 99 (Az-Zalzalah), verses 6-8:

99.6: On that Day will men proceed in groups sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done)

99.7: Then anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, Shall see it!

99.8: And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, Shall see it!

Evo Immorales. It's true that there is a great deal of strife in muslim countries today. That's a fact. However, that is a problem among people.

One fundamental tenet of faith in ISLAM is that no good or bad can befall anyone except by the decree of Allah (our maker, our cherisher, our nouisher, our sustainer). Another fundamental belief is in the Day of Reckoning or the Day of Judgment. Thus, Islam teaches that life is not fair; because, the purpose of life isn't living in pleasure andmaterial comforts; it is a test to see who is the best in character and conduct.

Thus, Islam doesn't teach to emulate wrongdoers.

These are the types of LUNATICS that Israel government is run by! It was a good to know that there are good Israel
people that understand that their ZIONIST Government is at fault. Peace to all human beings in the world!

Dear Snorkle,

Snorkle 22.07.2014 10:07

... you believe that inhumane slaughterers are not answerable to anyone because they're too clever or too cunning and smart? Am I right?

Well that's a rather unfortunate world view. I seek refuge from arrogance and self-deceit.

Modern Judaism teamed up with Protestantism to create capitalism. No refuge in religion from Zionist arrogance & self-deceit is possible since monotheism generates an essential naivety. Christians fell into Judeo-Chr'y while Islamic sects & nations fight each other - Quran & Bible didn't prevent this & cannot solve it!

Evo Immorales 22.07.2014 16:04

Dear Snorkle

Snorkle 22.07.2014 10:07

Essentia lly, what you're saying is the forces of evil today are beyond the scope of comprehension - provided one goes by Islamic teachings. Am I right?

Well that's a rather unfortunate world view. I seek refuge from arrogance and self-deceit.

The point is that the varied worldviews of monotheism are too simple-minded to grasp the problem. Mohammed did not have to deal with a situation like Israel - and Islam fell apart into Sunni & Shia soon after he died. The lessons of Chinese philosophy & Hinduism are not understood in the West.
