On this edition of Peter Lavelle's CrossTalk: Should the West cry foul over a growing number of Muslims? Recent data show that in the US alone Muslim population will double by 2030. Do Muslims promote jihad and Sharia and endanger European values? And is the West still willing to stand up for multiculturalism? Or will it divide the society even further? CrossTalking with Anders Gravers, Mohammed Shafiq and Elizabeth Collett.

All this focus on Islam is precisely the way people ignore the financial tensions of their lives. People are getting screwed over by their governments so much and they cant do anything about it. So the governments give them a scapegoat to vent on. Some of the people though live in dellusion and actually believe those things about Islam. Ofcourse they pick and choose what fits their "point of view" and discard the rest. Reason is not driving this Islamophobic attitude. Its emotions. Most of the US media (jewish owned ironically) started this aggressive demonization of muslims after 9/11 as opposed to the casual demonization before 9/11. First creating emotions in people's minds and then channeling that. Just how if you keep looking at your watch the time passes so slowly (time distortion), the focus/obsession with muslims is distorting their view because instead of looking at the general picture, they are focussing on odd details. And ofcourse, its in the governments best interest to let the population focus on each other than to focus on how much the government is screwing them over everyday.

This discussion was immediately undermined by the connection made between the WW2 Jewish/Slavic races "Holocaust" and the muslim fear that they will be subjected to the same "final solution". Such remarks do lasting damage to Islam and its supporters. Perhaps the man from Manchester should listen to the man from Denmark as to the actual reason for his extreme views. They must be based on some rationale or from personal experience. Admitedly there are irresponsible people in the British media talking about "Islamo-Fascism" which alienates moderate muslims. So there is fault on both sides. We therefore need to find some middle ground to avoid any misundestanding. Sometimes Peter Lavelle exacts some agreement on opposing sides but not on this occasion. Europe never claimed to be a "melting pot" in the American sense; so any racial integration will not come naturally. At the moment Europe seems caught in a bitter crossfire; even on CROSSTALK.

We have 4% muslims in DK and they count for 26% of all crimes like; illegal drugs, manslaughter, gangs and sisterkillings etc. So whatever Mr.Sharig is claiming, we have a problem between religions, which include morale, empati and etic. Yes it endanger Europeans values.
