Russian basketball player, Aleksey Shved, will be on Charles Barkley’s team in the Risings Stars Challenge as part of the 2013 NBA’s All-Star Weekend.
The general managers of the two teams, NBA greats Charles Barkley and Shaquille O`Neal, selected their line ups from the pool of the league’s top 20 rookie and second year players.
Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers was the first pick on Team Shaq, while Barkey opted for New Orleans Hornets man, Anthony Davis, as his No.1 choice.
Meanwhile, Shved got on Team Chuck as result of a blind draw, which decided the sides for the four of the last players remaining in the pool.

The Risings Stars Challenge is scheduled to take place in the Houston, Texas on February 15.
