Klitschko could not go the distance if Rocky Marciano was still around today. Marciano's record was 49 Wins (43 knockouts, 6 decisions), 0 Losses, 0 Draws. He was undefeated when he retired and he will always be the best in the world....."C"

How would Marciano , at 5' 8' , knock out 6' 8" killer like Vitaly ? By hitting him in the knee cap ? By the way , Vitaly never actualy lost a fight . Both of his so called " losses " were a result of stoppage due to injury , he was winning both fights when they were stopped . No one EVER even knocked Vitaly down , let alone beat him .

Marciano would knock him out like he knocked out the rest of his opponents. Calling Vitali a 6'foot killer is a joke. He's a good fighter but far from great - and say what you will, two losses count as two losses. Lewis was beating him up so please don't act like Klitschko is anything more than what he is, a big, strong, moderately talented fighter who has never beaten anyone with spectacular credentials.

Check out Jeremiah Graziano, on YOU TUBE. He's with Ringside out of Kansas, and just turned "pro". His record is 5 and 0, 4 k.o.'s in the first round, and one fight a k.o. in the first seconds of the 2nd round. He's a MONSTER CHAMPION in a play pin. He was born blessed with physical and mental ability to shine like SUPER STARS do. Thanks for the opportunity to introduce him. llg

Klitschko has not fought anybody but tomato cans. He is not in the league with Tyson, Foreman, or even Ruddick. This is an insult to boxing. Who ever said this must not know anything about boxing.

I don't know any one in the heavy weight division that if they get in the ring to fight Klitschko and not fight to survive that will get knocked out by Vitali. I have been in boxing 50 years and have never seen any thing like Vitali. - www.whiterockboxing.com

Its a great percentage but you cant make a statement like this without comparing like for like Vitali come back when you have 50 plus fights under your belt, if the percentage is the same great your the man. PS on like for like Marciano 37 fights 37 wins 37 ko's 100% an what about George Mike an Ernie at 37 fights anyone got the percentage on those?

I have been following boxing for many, many years, I don,t know who gave Klitchko such a high rating. Let's be truthful, he is a big strong fighter, with a good punch, but against who? do you really think, he could have caught Muhammed Ali, or not have been set up by Joe Louis in his prime, the class of heavyweights he has fought, cannot be compared with the opponents Ali and Louis fought over the years, Lennox Lewis beat him, albeit on a cut eye, he would have beaten him anyway. I understand this is only my opinion, but at least I am trying to have an open mind and be fair to fighters of the past, and there was an awful lot of good heavyweights in years gone by.

You've got to be kidding! The best ever heavyweight champion was Rocky Marciano. Maybe Muhammad Ali was second.

No disrepect to Marciano fans, but let's be realistic. I've seen all the heavyweights since Joe Louis and studied all the great heavyweights. Rocky was 5'10", weighed 187 lbs and had a reach of 68". How was he going to get inside Vitali's reach? We can let our hearts over rule our head. The Rock nerver fought anyone over 217 lbs and that was a very over the hill Joe Louiis. The only fighter I've seen that would give Vitali a real tussle is a young Joe Louis. Louis accomplished more than any fighter in history. He held the heavyweight crown for and increidble 12 years, longer than any fighter in any weight division in the history of boxing. He defended his title 25 times, also a record for any champion. Bomber Joe was at his best against the big guys. He pulverized the 6'6", 250 lb Buddy Baer after being knocked out of the ring by one of Baer's lethal left hooks. He knocked out ^6"4" Max Baer. No fighter ever hit harder than Max Baer, who was responsible for the death of two of his opponents. Louis walked right through his best shots and knocked him out in 4 rounds. Who can ever forget the triple left hook that Louis used to nearly decapitate Max. Abe Simon, who was 6"5" and weighed in at 260 lbs and had a KO victory over a young Jersey Joe Walcott, was destroyed twice by Louis. Louis also KO'd 238 lb "Two Ton" Tony Galento in an exciting 4 round brawl, highlighted by a right left combination thrown by Louis that literally lifted Galento off the floor. Boxing historian Bert Sugar, who rates Louis as the all time greates heavyweight champion, jokingly said that the referee did not start his count until Galento came back down. Only a slight exaggeration. Stop underestimating Vitali Klitschko. He is a very good fighter even if he is light complected and keeps beating everyone he fights.
