Klitschko shuts Arreola up with 11 round TKO

Ukraine's world heavyweight champion Vitaly Klitschko has lived up to his nickname Dr. Iron Fist.
The elder Klitschko brother defended his WBC belt for the second time, stopping American Chris Arreola to go, when Arreola's corner finally decided he had enough and refused to let the challenger come out for the 11th round.
It was the first loss for Arreola, who was trying to become the first person of Mexican descent to win a heavyweight title.
But Klitschko was too good for him this evening. He put on an impressive show, using both his reach advantage and his considerable ring skills to land left hooks followed by an assortment of right hands. He was never able to put Arreola down though, and never landed enough big punches to make him want to quit.
"I know I was hurting him a lot but he has a great, great chin," Klitschko said after the bout. "I was surprised he did not come out (for the 11th round)."
Meanwhile, the Mexican-American says he was ready to struggle for all 12 rounds.
"I worked my butt off to be the champion, but Vitaly's strong. He hits hard and I never wanted to quit. That's never in me, I wanted to go the full 12 rounds," Arreola admitted.
"Whatever I did he found a way to counteract that. He found a way to win and I found a way to lose," he added.
The victory means Klitschko's record now stands at 38 wins and two losses.

Great victory for the Ukranian powerhouse. A great fighter with an iron will(and chin)... I've always loved the brothers and their intelligent views....
