Wladimir Klitschko’s manager Bernd Boente says they are interested in a fight with WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck of Germany in the near future.
Boente told the German Bild magazine.
Negotiations with Huck will start in case the younger Klitschko brother defeats the so far unbeaten Polish challenger Mariusz Wach on November 10.
Serbia-born Huck, who lost his last fight in the heavyweight division to Russian Aleksandr Povetkin on a decision, is happy the Ukrainian champion is considering meeting him in the ring.
“Great! Finally Klitschko will get a true opponent. I have good defense and I can hit hard. I can fight Wladimir anywhere, even on the Moon. We could pack the Olympic Stadium in Berlin [over 70 thousands seats],” Huck said on Tuesday.
However, before that he will have to test former cruiserweight champ Firat Arslan of Germany in the WBO title bout scheduled for November 3.
