The best pound-for-pound boxer Manny Pacquiao is back in Los Angeles gearing up for his championship fight with Antonio Margarito in Texas on November 13.
Pacquiao had been slugging it out in his native Philippines, where he won a congressional seat five months ago.
"It's gonna be hard because I'm moving up in a higher weight division and I have to focus on and study my opponents style," Pacquiao said on Thursday.
"We trained hard in the Philippines. Our training is going well. Right now though, it's a good thing that we came here. We can focus 100 per cent on the fight," he added.
Meanwhile, Pacman's coach Freddy Roach says he was having one of the worst camps of his career.
So it is the Wild Card Gym in LA now – a move, which seems to have put him back on track for the light-middleweight bout.
"The change of scenery was the biggest thing. Because he knows that this is where it happens. This is his home. This is his comfort zone. This is where he shines. We had our best day of sparring yesterday. I mean it was like night and day compared to last Saturday," said Roach.
