I feel bad for true fans on all sides because there are so many racist activities in Poland. Also I feel bad to say this but I think, Poland should have hosted the games at all if they cant keep the crowds under control.

I would have guessed that Poland would be one of the countries that would not allow racism at all to go on due to WW2 history.

Dont blame Poland or it's citezens blame the idiots.

As an American-born Jew living happily and safely in Poland and working
diligentl y to build Jewish life in that country, I am furious at the way the BBC
has exploited me as a source. The organization used me and others to
manipulate the serious subject of anti-Semitism for its own sensationalist
ag enda; in doing so, the BBC has insulted all Polish people and done a
disservice to the growing, thriving Jewish community of Poland.

I have reason to believe the BBC similarly misrepresented the black African
football players it used as sources in the same programme.

Mo reover, the BBC knowingly cheated its own audience - the British people
- by concocting a false horror story about Poland. In doing so, the BBC has
spread fear, ignorance, prejudice and hatred.

I would urge the BBC to become more aware of its own negative stereotyping
of Poles, before it goes pointing the finger of judgment.

On April 30th, 2012 I was interviewed by Chris Rogers for a BBC Panorama
program about racism and anti-Semitism in Polish and Ukrainian football
ahead of the Euro2012 football championships taking place in those two
countries. The interview lasted approximately one hour during which I
emphasized that the small number of football fans in Poland engaging in
anti-Semitic and racist behavior do not represent Polish society as a whole. I
stressed throughout the interview the remarkable progress Poland has made
in the 11 years I’ve been living here and carefully explained that the Krakow
Jewish community, with whom I work closely in my capacity of Director of the
Jewish Community Centre, feels safe and well integrated into broader Polish
society.

I suggested to the reporting team that they interview the two Israeli footballers
who played for Wisla Krakow this season and were active members of the
Jewish community so that they could hear firsthand about their positive
experien ces. The reporters responded that this line of inquiry “didn’t fit their
story”, a response which perplexed me at the time.

Someone makes really good job to raise hatred between nations. From what I know spectators expressed their discontent when players started moving away from their tribune. They started making sounds like 'booo' or sth like that. Is it manifest of racism? Of course anyone coming to Poland will interpret it as racist act after watching BBC movie 'Stadiums of hatred'. If BBC says there is racism, it must be here, everywhere! All this situation is ridiculous. Please, dear Westerners, do not judge Polish tolerance, you are not any better than us.

Lets start from basics. What is racism?
How come that more than 95% of marriages in most mixed society in the world (USA) is between people of the same colour of skin?
I am white, my wife is white, my kid is white too; so I am racist - no more not less.
What they are talking about is a racial harassment ie: bringing down somebody because of his colour of skin which is BAD but have nothing in common with racism.

the last thing Russia needs take a label of racism. The label of Russia as a racist country has been taken seriously in world over. In the West, today, the idea of racist Russia is considered as norm. Perception is important in the world. If the Russians want more than selling gas and oil to the West and purchasing expensive cars made in Germany then Russia must pay attention to its public image in the world. Why Russian media outlets are full of hateful message directed at Africa and Africans? Why so many Russians hate African people? We would like to know the reason behind Russia’s hate toward Africa and Africans. What has Africa and Africans did to Russia? RT’s recent shocking reporting of the London riots suggest fear of the people with dark skin has wider currency in Russia. We are trying to understand why Russia wants to host the world cup of Soccer in the climate of racist hysteria in Russia. Also none of the oligarchs who looted Russia—and prostituted Russian women- were of African origin. There is no evidence of Africans harming Russia or Russians. So why the shocking hate toward Africans and Africa in Russia?

Football is most of all today the game of the dark skinned people. This is the basic fact of this beautiful game. This game might have originated in England but today it beautiful because the best and brightest players are of African origin. What Russia needs is to deal with tinny but vocal racists minority who with their racism can destroy the reputation of Russia for decades to come. England was not happy when Russia beat it in hosting the World Cup of Football in 2018. What better way to destroy Russia’s reputation than send racists like you to post racist messages in Russian public forums! I am certain idea of racist Russia will be made into a brand name before 2018. If Russia wants to address this trap then Russia must deal with bigotry against dark skinned people right this very moment and not five years from now. Racism will hurt Russia profoundly— if it fails to address this disease right now- and not moment too late. I wonder if you are part of the British strategy in the construction of “racist Russia-2018”?

Now, I do realise that the mentra "Africa for the Africans; Asia for the Asians- and whites for everywhere" is David Duke’s idea. However, supremacists might get more than their wish. the Americas will also be for the natives. Remember there were no whites in the Americas less than 500 year ago and today Latin American natives are rising again. we already can see a backlash against the tinny white land owners in much of Latin America. Majority of the population in Latin America are either of mixed ethnicities or Natives or blacks. the same scenario is emerging in the United States. So if these white supremacists insist a new geography of racism—then Europe- when one excludes Russia- is a tinny place for the 'whites'. So, if I were a members of the white supremacists I would have started to learn how to get alone in the emerging world in which the ‘whites’ will be a minority.

TO: BitterTruth (unregistered)  Your Anti-Slavic racism, hatred and bigotry against Slavs is a waste of time, inasmuch as you like to see more unsavory incidents to discredit Eastern Europe during this tournament with, such luxury will not be afforded you.

This tournament along with the upcoming World-Cup in Russia will be the greatest and peaceful ever, you anti-slavic bigots will eat humble pie.

Now the difference between Western racism and the new Slavic racism is that the West has always been racist- and word “slavery”- is based on early forms of slaving the Slavs by the West. Racism was not a common practice in the Slavic East until the fall of the Soviet Union. But with the collapse of the CCCP the Eastern Europe is turning to a strange space in which fascism, and racism and all sorts of intolerance flourish. This is one of the clear tragic outcomes of the fall of the Soviet Union. But you are anti-black racist. Yet you are neither Slavic nor are you from Eastern Europe. Thus, today Slavic racism is an outcome of globalisation-it came with studying English and watching Hollywood films.

The Western accusation of racism against Eastern Europe and slavs in general will not succeed, this tournament as well as the upcoming World cup in Russia will be the best and safest ever.

What we are seeing today in Poland and Ukraine will be nothing in few years when the entire world and the game of football focus on Russia. RT can report all it wants about anti-black racism in Poland and Ukraine but RT allows most shocking anti-black racism to be posted in this very website. I supposed this is done in the name of ‘freedom of expression’. So why pick on Polish fans right to express their own brand of East European anti-black racism? Eastern Europe has never been part of European modernity and that fact is showing itself in part through extreme –anti-black racism and other primitive proclivities—If Russia wants to be part of European modernity it must end racism and other forms of extremely shocking hate crimes.
