@Remy This the Euro cup!!! Russia and Poland have some bad feelings that spill out to the sports arenas,,Yes in a perfect world that shoudn't be, but when Poland allows the US to set up missiles facing Russia and whose government is constantly bashing the Russians to please the US for a few $$$ more what do you expect..Rememeber the Georgian crisis, Poland just couldn't shut their mouths with anti-Russian propaganda....On the other hand REMY,have you ever attended an American sports event...the violence in and out of the stadium is an every day affair, example, in Los Angeles Dodger stadium a San Francisco Giant fan got beaten to death in the parking lot because he just wore a San Francico jersey and that's just a baseball game between Americans, I could go on,,,no space, so keep your hate for the Russians to yourself!!!!.

Russia has a great team, but remember in the end only one team can win the cup.  I was also expecting more from the Dutch team, look at what happened to them.  It goes this way sometimes. This is the reality of football. Enjoy the game, don't take so hard! Life goes on, tomorrow is another bright day. Be positive!

Advocaat got 7 million euro a month. After the match he just went to Holland, no press conference etc. Hey guys, i'm still proud of you cya!
Players are bad as well as our football federation. If they get minus 6 point nobody nobody would be sorry.

I am so glad that Russia lost. Their fans were so rude and didn't know how to behave in a foreign country where they were guests.

I can understand how Arshavin feels, I mean the supporters and fans usually like to whine all the time about how bad their teams are playing, well why can't the supporters show how they should play then =) ? well they can't beacuse its easier to talk than really do it! So what I mean is that, its not for supporters/fans do decide how the national team should play!

Cheers
Yes but the fans aren't the ones who are paid lots to play football and supposedly be 'good enough' to represent russia so your arguement is invalid.

This is why Russia lost. This arrogant ugly monkey Arshavin thinks he is too good. Truth is he was a complete failure in the english premier league and sent home with his tail between his legs. He is still a failure and then us the cheek to insult the fans!

It is Russian fans who have insulted by the players not the other ways around (unregistered) 18.06.2012 07:27

Russian footballers played badly against Greece and Poland: They have nothing to complain. They need to go away and rethink why they have failed to badly. It is amazing that Arshavin needs to go away and not insult Russian fans any further. What is clear is new “soften” up Russia’s footballers do not have to spirits and courage of players of the CCCP era.

Arshavin should not put more salt to injury, let him apologise but urge Russia fans not to misbehave. Let him set a good example.

He better watch out. He might soon find himself shot on the street or his team plane will crash "mysteriously" while landing in Russia.
