Barcelona’s midfielder Aleksandr Hleb has disagreed with a plan for him to join Inter Milan on a one-year loan, Italian La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
The Belarusian footballer was part of a Zlatan Ibrahimovic deal between the Catalonian’s and the Italian side.
It means Barcelona will have to pay €5 million more for the Swedish star-striker, whom they officially presented on Monday.
The main candidate to strengthen Inter’s midfield is now Dutchman Wesley Sneider, put on transfer by Real Madrid for €15 million.
Belarusian Aleksandr Hleb joined Barcelona from Arsenal at the start of 2008/09 season, but failed to make an impact at Camp Nou, not scoring a single goal in 19 appearances.
Now the 28-year-old wants to change clubs and return to Stuttgart in the German Bundesliga, where he played for five years starting from 2000, becoming one of the crowds’ favorites.
