Brazilian side, Corinthians have progressed to the FIFA Club World Cup final match in Japan after a narrow 1-0 against Al Ahly of Egypt.
Corinthians were the better side throughout the whole match at the Toyota Stadium, dominating possession with 59 per cent of the ball.
But the Latin American’s advantage materialized in just a single goal, scored by Jose Paolo Guerrero in the 30th minute.
The Peruvian striker is well-known in Europe as he played for Bayern Munich and Hamburg before joining Corinthians this year.
English giants Chelsea will take on Mexican side Monterrey in the event’s other semi-final.
The Club World Cup’s decider is scheduled to place on Sunday, December 16 at the International Stadium in Yokohama.
