The plane carrying Cristiano Ronaldo and the other Portuguese football stars has arrived at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport.
Portugal will walk out onto the pitch of the Luzhniki stadium on Friday as they take on Russia in a World Cup 2014 qualifier.
The two teams currently share the lead in Group F, both enjoying a 100 per cent record – two wins in two games.
A huge crowd of local fans greeted Portugal at the airport, with Ronaldo’s autograph being their primary target.
Meanwhile, Cristiano’s participation in the match is still in doubt.
The 27-year-old has been training individually due to the shoulder injury he picked up in Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw against Barcelona at the weekend.
