Dinamo Moscow will have to overcome Scottish club Celtic to reach the final playoff round for the new Champions League campaign.
The first leg of the two-match tie will be played in Glasgow on July 28 or 29, with the return game scheduled on August 4 or 5.
The draw for the third qualifying round was made in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday.
Both Dinamo, who finished third in the 2008 Russian Premier League and Celtic, who came second in the Scottish Premier, were in the non-champions section of the draw.
Two years ago, Celtic met another Russian club in the tournament’s final playoff round. They outplayed Spartak Moscow, knocking the Muscovites out on penalties. While for Dinamo Moscow this will be their first League Championship campaign in modern Russian history.
