Barcelona has reportedly agreed to pay Inter Milan 40 million euros for striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in a deal that will send striker Samuel Eto'o and midfielder Aleksandr Hleb to the Serie A club.
Samuel Eto'o + Aleksandr Hleb + 40 million euros = Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This formula seems to be OK with Joan Laporta and Massimo Moratti. The fate of these players was allegedly decided during a dinner meeting between the Barcelona and Inter presidents in Milan on Thursday night.
After Barcelona signed Inter left back Maxwell on Wednesday, the possible Zlatan Ibrahimovic move will mean the second marquee signing for the Catalan club, following their triumphant last season. Earlier, Barca were unable to reach a deal with Valencia for striker David Villa.
The deal hasn’t been completed yet, but it’s already known that Belarus midfielder Hleb will head to the San Siro on loan for the upcoming campaign.
