The Serrie A side are ready to trade 2006 World Cup winner Vincenzo Iaquinta in exchange for the Russian striker, Italian Tuttosport newspaper reports.
Earlier, it was reported that Arshavin’s current club, Zenit, wanted to bye the Italian international. Negotiations about his transfer started when the two clubs played each other in the Champions League in November.
If Iaquinta were to become a Zenit player, he’d get a major increase in salary and a chance to spend more time on the pitch than he currently does in Turin.

An Italian international, his career high point came in 2006 when Italy won the World Cup in Germany. He played in five out of sever of his team's matches, including the final, and scored one goal in a group stage against Ghana.
