Rubin Kazan are through to the final of the football Russia Cup after beating FC Moscow 1-0 on Wednesday.
A tight match was expected in this semi-final with the two sides occupying the top two spots in the Premier League.
And so it was, with a single goal being the difference on the night – Ryazantsev scored the match winner on 49 minutes to put reigning league champions Rubin into the final.
The other semi-final takes place in a week’s time, when holders CSKA face city rivals Dynamo Moscow.
