Giorgos Karagounis has put Greece into the Euro 2012 quarterfinals, scoring just before halftime to give the 2004 European champions a 1-0 victory over Russia, and sent Dick Advocaat’s charges packing.

Youi have not published my previous mail. It is OK. As I wrote years ago:You must change completely your strategy and send capitalist prostitutes like Abramovitch to Siberia. Your great country deserve better. Jean-Claude Meslin

congrats to the Greeks for taking advantage of another messed up euro zone rule;another bail out for the Greeks by the unfair UEFA rule.what if the games Russia vs Check and Greek vs Poland were to take place last with all the results being the same, i do not see any fairness in the uefa rule which favors the weaker team in group standing !!
Doesn't matter in what order the teams play one another. If the teams are level on points at the end they look at the head to head game between the teams level on points. In this case Greece v Russia. Greece beat Russia fair and square so they go through. It's a very simple game football. You have to beat your opponents. Be happy for Greece :))))

Congratu lation to our team. Of course , we know very well that we will not the best team in Euro. But ,in this game , we played for our History , which must be read from a lot of European people to learn about Democracy and Freedom. We are a very proud Nation ,so give us a little Respect !!!!! !!!!! And money, right?
i guess it would be too much for RT to congratulate the greeks or wish them good luck? Oh no, RT concentrates its piece on a bland play by play plus a hint at Russian historical dominance. Russia: this is why everybody hates you.
"Winners and Losers" - divide and concur. Sport is mainly used by the ruling class to control the masses. Check the Jewish News - there's hardly anything there about sport, yet they, the Jews control the world. Chasing an empty ball around the paddock is as empty and as meaningless as the inflated egos of the brainless masses who don't know that they are only being manipulated by their unscrupulous masters.
stupid captain .. knows nothing . have not scored a even a single goal in in this euro . tour . i have no idea why he deserve to be a captain .. poor performance .. good team work to come back home . safely
This is just a game and Russia will not be weaker because she failed to advance the Euro this time around. But the blood of the Syrians are in the hands of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the U.S and UK who have bebe supplying the terrorists with weapons and money. Now, do you think the blood of the children of Asia, Africa and Latin America—the children of Iraq, Palestine and Somalia would come to haunt your new God and Master of Sunni Salafism: the United States?
