June 13, 2012 14:04

Battling on and off the pitch is not all Tuesday’s Euro 2012 match between Poland and Russia will be remembered for. A colossal banner unfurled by the Russian fans on the stands turned into a hot topic for discussion after the game.

I mean why do Poland whining about this =) ? I mean are they really that Stupid =) ? it was Poland who attacked Moscow, and then got their buttom kicked during 1612 by Dmitry Pozharsky! So it was Poland who was the invaders! And those who are thinking of the invasion by Soviet, people should know that Pure Russia and Soviet is totally different things, which should be keept apart!

Psst: there is a good Russian movie called 1612 really cool, I really recommend it to everyone =)

And about democarcy, how come this "banner" is called for extremist, but how come that this is not allowed while Polish so called Neo-Nazis are allowed ? aren't that Ironic =) ?

I doubt that polish mainly brainless hools know who Pozharsky was :D I personally would be offended if they would put Suvorov, or similar polish civillians mass-killerMain reasons of attacks on russian supporters are not banner or their nationality but 1 fame of russian hools and verification this subject by polish hools2 some people love to fight, chase and beat others, especialy "strangers" (but in fact they dont need any reason to do this)3 beatings in Wroclaw: russian hools vs polish stewards, in case you dont know- stewards are regular fans of Slask Wroclaw, notable p olish league team so you can imagine Wroclaw's fans and their allies in polish league reaction...4 crucia l mistakes of police, not sure here but I think they pushed back polish hools on your back but then"forgot" to secure end of russian march I'm sure that if Czechs, Argentinians or lets say Bungabungians would beat these stewards and polish authorities would let them march anyway, result would be the same  Proud Serbian Czar (unregistered) wrote in #20... But then came bloody Pope and Pols become a nation... and they started to hate what they were...  What are you talking about? We were threathed by german empire and fighting pagans. Joining west-catholicks (throught czechs hierarchy instead german) was tactical move of polish rulers, like many others in early middle-age. Pope didn't force us to anything. Btw great schism happend century later.

If the Poles , Czechs , Italians etc do not want to be abused by us Russians they should not field any BLACK player . Also, for 2018 World Cup Russia should not grant visas to BLACKS & ASIANS.  But Russia is mostly situated Asia! You have nearly 17 million muslims living in Russia. Should they be banned from playing for Russia? They will soon outnumber orthodox christians and then you whites may be abused and told what to do.

You wouldn't think the game was an amiable draw !
Just a flag, added to the spectacle, next time the Poles will bring one to wind up the Russians. Back in your boxes knuckleheads on both sides.
.. and be glad you're not (ex) Rangers fans :-) :-) :-)

c'mon, hardly anyone here in Poland knows who Pozharsy was, so nobody took any offence. And even those who know something about that war probably did not link the image to the guy. I thought that simply speaking Russians wanted to liken themselves to the Spartans fighting against the majority. This makes sense in Poland, where the Russian numbers are smaller than ours. I guess that Russian brutality and love of wars can be seen as a parallel to that of the Spartans. Honestly, I don't mind the banner. It added a bit of colour to the game. Keep up the good job.

Still, reading the "American" I can't help
1. doubting if he is American,
2. thinking that this is historical propaganda. I mean, I keep my fingers crossed for Russia becoming an alternative to the New World Order, but if you Russians think this is the case now, or that your country has always fought for the good cause, I am sorry to disappoint you. As of the Obama reset and the START treaty, Russia has been an American ally, so what are you talking about?
3. wondering why Russians love communism so much. The system and its international sponsors from Wall Street are responsible for tens of millions dead. Is this the "good cause" the country has "always" fought for? Or maybe you are proud of that because it pleases your PRIDE? No matter the cost, we must be a superpower? I guess you can have your glory days back in alliance with ... Wall Street again. I mean, look, you are such a valuable ally against China and Islam. Your President, and his Chabad friends must realize that. Right?

My ideas are national democratic. We traditionally sympathized with Russia. White Russia I mean. How white is this New Russia, parading with hammers and sickles? You look into that, Russians...

g reetings and bye bye

This just shows how stupid the Russians are. They are in Poland. The image of the un-evolved barbaria n accurately depic ts the Russian fans though.
