“There are fixed games in Russian football”

The problem of fixed games exists in Russian football, with one or two suspicious matches every season, says Marc Bennetts, author of 'Football Dynamo - Modern Russia and the People's Game'.
The Russian Premier league has entered its mid-season break, but controversy over irregular betting patterns during the Terek Grozny – Krylya Sovietov match on Saturday has cast a black cloud over the summer holiday.
