Holders Russia keep 100 percent record

World Ice Hockey champions Russia have finished top of their group in this year’s competition thanks to a 4-2 win over hosts Switzerland.
But it was far from easy against a Swiss side, whose coach Ralf Kruger had promised his side would be giving their all.
A fantastic interception from Aleksey Morozov put Russia 3-2 ahead. While an empty-net goal in the last ten seconds sealed the win that sees Russia finish top of Group B.
Canada 7-3 Slovakia
In Ice Hockey, Canada has taken the better of 2002 World Champions Slovakia.
Jason Spezza scored twice as the Maple Leafs scored five power-play goals to win 7-3. Derek Roy, Shane Doan, Shea Webber, Ian White and Steven Stamkos also scored for the Canadians.
Canada progresses from Group A with a 100% success rate.
Also in Group A, Belarus beat Hungary 3-1.
