Russian hockey star Aleksandr Ovechkin, doesn’t really believe the NHL action will resume next month.

The NHL has just come up with a new proposal to the players, offering them a fifty-fifty share of income.

The league’s bosses hope it’ll satisfy them so the lockout could end as early as November 2.

But Ovechkin, who plays for the Washington capitals in the NHL, isn’t sure he’ll be returning to the US so soon.

“Let’s not make any hasty conclusions about the end of the lockout and all that stuff. We’ll wait and see,” he told Sportbox.ru.

The 27-year-old is currently in the colors of Dynamo Moscow, making a large contribution into the team’s leading position in the KHL.

Alex the Gr8 has so far collected 11 points (4 goals and 7 assists) in as many games for the Blue-and-Whites.
