Prokhorov's place is behind bars, with the rest of the "busynessmen" that made their fortunes in the 90's.

I agree with you. I hope Kerimov will be an example that other rich Russians will follow.

In my view Prokhorov is the fifth column of the West in Russia. Putin is foxy and way too experienced to be deceived by Prokhorov.
One interesting thing about Prokhorov is that he owns 80% of the U.S. NBA team New Jersey Nets, while in the past he supported financially one of Russia's best teams, CSKA Moscow in their football, ice hockey and basketball teams. Why did he give up on CSKA? Prokhorov could have carried on supporting CSKA, and if he wanted to change team, instead of going to the U.S. he could have supported another Russian team. In sport, Anzhi Makhachkala's owner, Suleyman Kerimov, gets all my respect for having invested his own money in Anzhi, and considering he has been the owner of the team for just over a year, the results are very promising. But, most importantly, he has also invested heavily in getting young people in Dagestan in being interested in sports. Even Wikipedia quotes:
In 2007, Kerimov founded The Suleiman Kerimov Foundation with the vision to help lives by investing in initiatives that strengthen communities and help those in need. The foundation supports projects all over the world, with particular emphasis on Russia and Russian communities. Between its 2007 and 2009, the foundation made donations totaling over $164 million in support of worthwhile projects and causes. On December 17, 2010, the press reported that Kerimov will spend $100 million on the construction of an advanced comprehensive school west of Moscow "for educating forward-minded children from different social groups.” The school will include a modern sports complex with a swimming pool, a skating-rink, a giant dance floor, as well as a residential area for gifted children from the provinces. The Suleiman Kerimov Foundation has directed over $60 million to charitable causes

this oligarch knows how to get what he wants not only honest means but illicit crooked means. How funny the entire western imperialists class and even some in RT had already began grooming Prokhorov as Putin 2.0! It shows how little respect these spin doctors give to the meaning of politics. This is man who has zero credibility with the majority of Russian citizens and those who voted for him share his reactionary views of reducing living standards for working people in Russia to that if China ( i.e. so bring down cost of production!). What this indicates is the regime change in Russia has failed; that Putin and his team are going to shape the future of Russia in the next 6 years and that oligarchs will have to either do honest business and pay their taxes will be judged by the people. Also, there be no more off- shoring of Russia’w wealth by criminal oligarchs.
