4-03-09 Hi Russia Today - thank you for bringing this inspirational story to us - news is filled with so much rubbish worldwide that REAL news about REAL people is often overlooked. So, it was great delight to read something which is relevant to us all on how to overcome all odds - instead of the really western disease or media these days : imprinting only irrelevant details about "celebrating celeb.-.rating " etc. You will understand. Just as a note - I recall another similar story from India last year (heard on World Service) when Indian authorities had placed a public computer in all remote villages - hoping to encourage people to learn to use it and, thereby, bring them into 21st. century. The computer did baffle people - no experts wer sent to teach anyone how to use them! However - a young boy - excluded from schools because of poverty and a disability (and, therfore, classified as a substandard retard kind of person) - worked it all out by himself ... and was soon the most sought after person in the region - giving lessons to EVERYONE. He proved that intelligence has nothing to do with money - schooling - or physique or social class. He was classed as an outcast - real slumdog - and arose as the genius no-one suspected was trapped in him. EveUK.
