Where is Ron Paul?

For weeks, the establishment GOP candidates (Romney, Gingrich, & Santorum) have been battling each other over what is the next mindless government program either to continue, or to cancel. For Gingrich, his technological fetishism is the space program. Week’s back, he identified his desire for a moon colony. Yikes!!! If there are not enough problems here on earth, Gingrich wants to colonize the moon to export earthly problems to the atmosphere. WOW!!! So much for him being the “ideas” guy!!! Its not likely he is going to win, but at least we know where Gingrich lives… the moon. He is the guy on stage, using too many adverbs, with very small space ideas.
The most hysterical drama occurring in the GOP is the dialogue occurring between Romney and the people in the great state of Michigan. He told them, “I love the trees here, they are just the perfect height.” If Gingrich’s ideas were bad, Romney’s lack of sincerity is the worst. He is simply a weird guy who does not know what to say. I only wish he would just go away.
Lastly, the latest flavor of the week Senator Rick Santorum is cashing in on the culture wars. By doing so, Santorum confirms he is a dinosaur from a by gone era. He lives here trying to feed off another dying breed of human, the far-right social conservatives. I think he could really be a contender in the GOP primary, but only time will tell.
That brings us to Ron Paul. Having made significant advances in the voting base of the GOP, Congressman Ron Paul cannot seem to sink the political dagger and make a victory. His inability to win in New Hampshire, Maine, or Nevada indicates that American libertarian’s, though powerful, cannot win the GOP primary. So, what are we going to do?
Where are we supposed to turn, when America seems to be run by the two-party system? The parties of this system look too similar to each other. They both are guilty of advancing horrible ideas that are breaking America in half.
I have never been a staunch libertarian, but I am recovering neo-conservative, and I do not know who is worse today. Whether we re-elect Obama, or we elect one of the Republicans, its unlikely America’s future is in any better shape.
Whom are we supposed to vote for, when we simply cannot stomach Santorum or Romney.
So, what are we going to do? For whom are we supposed to vote?I am disgruntled and lost.

15% of the Republican party followers.
15% of the Democratic party followers.
40% of the Independents
Running 3rd party, he easily defeats both the Republican and Democratic party nominee. He would also solidify a legitimate 3rd party that is so desperately needed in American politics.
