Warren buffet

1. No Tenure / No Pension.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social
Security.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all
Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and
participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the
American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void
effective 1/1/12.

si lly people, at our expense, we dont need the silly goverment to do silly things, we have eachother, we are the goverment, stop investing in them, start investing in us, being dependent on the silly goverment is how they control us, let them be silly and we all just reform, hows that sound?

Do you control how and where they spend your tax dollars? If arrested... do you tell the silly people "Thou shalt not arrest me!" And they obey? If your health care expense exceeds your savings... do you have back-up? The government is not separate from people.

Prolonging the issue by buying time is not enough anymore. They need to solve the problem. Not buy another 6 weeks and do nothing. The republicans just want their way at the expense of the American people.

Boner will fold like origami paper and end up with a talk show on FOX like Newt Gingerich.

Watching ABC news I heard that Congress' approval rating is down to 5%. But that's only among the general public NOT the multi national companies and billionaires who paid for their election. Really, when you have elites who pay for other elites to get elected by a mindless electorate you have modern feudalism. At some point the rest of the world will begin calling all elections in America a sham comparable to many that are conducted in Africa.

Boehner isn't going to ask the Republicans. He is going to beg the Republicans.

I'll bet you $10,000 on it.

The republicans just want their way at the expense of the American people. They are nothing more than bullies; getting a fat paycheck; and do nothing for the people to earn it.

“'If Congress refuses to raise what’s called the debt ceiling, America would not be able to meet all of our financial obligations for the first time in 220 years,' Obama said."
This is another Obama lie. By allowing the Fed to counterfeit money and cause inflation, the US government is definitely not meeting its primary financial obligation, which is to protect the purchasing power of money earned by its citizens. Since the Fed took over in 1913, the value of the dollar has decreased by a factor of 20.
