Now, Robert Redford should redo jus 'Chicagoland' séries, that airs on CNN. After all, it depicts only fair, honest and dedicated policemen. Otherwise, CNN will be showing a lie!

Who would ever want to live in Chicago??? I visted the state and found nothing that would hold my attention for long. Now add police to the list of things to fear ... If this is true, sounds like he should own the police department!

the story is confusing...."L opez began crying" or Perez. This article almost six months old; this is a very large journalistic mistake. :)

It's hard to be a police officer in Chicago. You have to clean your gun from fikalii literally.)))

No wonder Chicago has such a high rate of wrongful arrests/prosecutions /convictions. The CPD has been corrupt for decades.

And they're all in prison now, right? WRONG!!!

I totally believe his story. The details are far too realistic to be invented or embellished. Remember Abu Ghraib? Power brings out the character in people. And how many cops condone a mentality of 'the ends justify the means'? Sadly, no amount of retribution will take away the trauma this poor man endured and the betrayal of trust by those who were sworn to protect and to serve. He is in my prayers. At least in heaven, there won't be any (unrepentant) rapists or liars. Even if these police officers are acquitted by the courts, God will get them eventually. He promises, "Vengence is Mine; I will repay."

The Police Union will say that they are "looking into it", "insufficient evidence of a crime" or the cops involved will be given a paid vacation.

Should be part of Africa instead of US

Chicago is gun-grabbers paradise. No wonder they don't want civilians to have guns! Sick homo cops

Anonymous user 25.06.2013 01:37

so when is it in "the fear of my life"(what cops always use) that a citizen can defend themselves?

Anonymous user 25.06.2013 00:06

Welcome to the police state America!

Mike Littlefield 24.06.2013 22:54

After reading the DEA's official account, I would say Mr. Perez' story is fabricated. But taking into consideration the Department of Injustice's actions of late, I would lend a great deal of credibility to his story. Add to this that this story has been largely neglected by the American press, one would be led to believe that US citizens have great cause to fear their government and their State-owned media.

when the cancers us government dos what it liks the police will do the same
