“As federal prosecutors, our mission includes protecting the use of computers and the Internet by enforcing the law as fairly and responsibly as possible."

Pressuring a young man into suicide is also a crime, but Holder covers it up snugly as does the US attorney. Did they ever even as much as ask themselves what effect their pressuring had on Aaron?

Besi des, the offer was 6 months in jail plus forced psychiatric treatment for depression, to essentially allow a mental illness justification - i.e. legitimize the false prosecution. Yes, more likely than not prosecution was politically motivated.

Holder is a blight on Justice.

It's hard to use Holder and justice in the same sentence but you did it!

You sent a boy to his suicide Holder. Did you even think about his family, his friends or his life?

Anonymous user 02.04.2013 21:43

I sincerely hope you find yourself in his position of feeling helpless, Mr. Holder.

Anonymous user 02.04.2013 21:42

Eric Holder, you are dispicable. You sentenced a boy to life because he shared education books.

DOJ just threw me in jail for 5 months with no criminal prosecution, not even a claim I broke a law, no evidentiary hearing, and no bail hearing. Like Aaron Swartz I am an MIT graduate and like him I am very upset.

Eric Holder has approved Swartz for the new US penal system, involuntary "assisted suicide" program.
