February 14, 2012 20:47

Around 300,000 organic farmers think that Monsanto, the biotech giant known for genetically modifying Mother Nature’s handwork for profit and pushing over the little guys all the while, is pretty seedy.

Land of the Brave and the Free. Just kidding indeed Monsanto wants a MONOPOLY on all seeds. It is quite easy to see what is the game plan of Monsanto and corrupt USDA in Washington. They want to EXTERMINATE all faramers who do not plant Monsanto seeds. Strategy ? Contaminate them and then sue them for stealing Monsanto patent and totally ruining their label oragnically grown. And its working because USA is runned by corporate fascists.  USA is a tyranny not a democracy and I am sure corrupt as EVERYTHING is USA, the organic farmers will be wiped out. Call it biological serfdom. Very soon it will be impossible in the USA, to produce your own food without paying Monsanto and these others scums ! They want it all !

Micheal Taylor was in Monsanto (Monsanto is now Pharmacia) he is now on Pres. O. administration. It is no wonder all these things are blocked.  Remember Germany 1939?  Dictatorship? Greed, greed and more greed in Mr. O admin.  He is the center of it.  Puppet or not a puppet?  What do they do with all of the money they make from these favors/picks, hidden off shore?

I think there could be changes if Mr.O and company are changed, otherwise this will get worse. The dictatorship will totally manifest.  Wake up America!

Remeber the fresh furit and vegi stand.  Well today there is no lemonaide stand or such like.  You are asked to take it down, even if you are a kid!  Before we revert to Germany 1939, we need to get rid of the corruption and such in our own government and that starts with the voter.  Thank goodness we still have that freedom!

USA = Monsanto Monsanto = USA Don't put any food that is made in USA in your mouth, it's garbage. If you read the ingredients, everything they make contains "corn syrup" or "corn byproducts". When ever I got to supermarkets and I see made in uSA, throw that garbage on the floor and walk away.

The people in power think you are in control and you are protected from your own actions? Wrong...  No one is above natural law.

As much as I love to hate Monsanto, articles need to be factual. Monsanto brought lawsuits against 144 farmers NOT 144 organic farmers. There's a big difference there - Organic farmers would not purchase see from Monsanto in the first place. 144 farmers out of the 200,000+ farmers who don't subscribe to organic methods and bought the seed cannot be lumped in with the organic farmers that brought the lawsuit. They are not using the same practices or seed.

And that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. By Dr. Mercola Agent Orange, produced by both Monsanto and Dow Chemicals, was used to defoliate jungles during the Vietnam War. During that time, millions of gallons of the toxic chemical mixture were sprayed on trees and vegetation, and the aftermath left hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese sick, with countless numbers of their children suffering birth defects, and a still growing group of U.S. veterans with related diseases ranging from cancer to Parkinson's disease. Agent Orange was a horrific chemical concoction that never should have been used, and if you want to see some of its effects on children who were exposed in the womb, you can do so here -- but I warn you the photos are very graphic and upsetting. Agent Orange is no longer produced -- so why am I bringing it up now? Because Dow AgroSciences (a subsidiary of Dow Chemicals), who was one of the original manufacturers of Agent Orange (AO), has developed a new generation of genetically modified (GM) crops -- soybeans, corn and cotton -- that are designed to resist a major ingredient in AO: the herbicide called 2,4-Dichlorophenoxya cetic acid (2,4-D). The use of 2,4-D, however, is not new, as it is actually one of the most widely used herbicides in the world.
